Subaccount creation for Emma HQ accounts

To create a new subaccount, click the Accounts option in the menu at the top right:

From there, click Create a new account, which opens this modal:

Here, you can get started with an Active or Trial subaccount.

Once you click save, you'll see a success modal like this when you've created the account:

On the Accounts page, you'll see a list of all your subaccounts. Next to each subaccount, you'll find the account status, number of trial emails remaining (if applicable), and the billing type (if applicable). 

Account settings

Once your account is created, you can update the account settings by choosing the View subaccount settings option in the dropdown menu to the right of the subaccount name in your accounts list.

From here, you can change the status of the account from Trial to Active, or to Retired, if it was created in error. Further down on the Account settings page you can enter sender information (from name/address, footer address), update add-on settings, generate API keys, and access/edit your team.

Click the Set account defaults button at the top of the Accounts page to see your options for saving time during the account creation process by using default settings. Each time you click to create a new account, the form will populate with the defaults you've set.

You can return to edit your subaccount settings as needed from the Accounts page.

Manage subaccount team members

By selecting manage team from the dropdown to the right of the subaccount name, you'll be able to create users and assign permission levels. Head here for more information about managing your subaccount's team.
