Exporting your audience

You can export the contacts in your audience to a CSV file.
 In order to have access to exports, you must be an Administrator or an Emma HQ manager or owner. Full and Editor permission levels can export as well, but that ability must be toggled on by an Administrator or an Emma HQ manager or owner. Learn more about user permissions for Plus and Emma HQ accounts.

To export contacts and their field data to a CSV file:

  1. Open the Audience section in your account, then click Export on the right side of your screen to export all contacts in your audience.
  2. Click Groups or Segments to export specific contacts in your audience.  
  3. Select the desired group or segment, then click Export on the right side of your screen. 
  4. Select Active, Error, Opt-out or all of the above, then click Export.

  5. You will then see a notification telling you that your export is in process.

  6. Click the link to jump to your exports. Here, you will find your most current export along with other recent exports.
  7. Click the downward pointing arrow to the right of the export name, and select Download this export.
  8. Your file will download as a CSV to your computer's desktop or downloads folder.

To access your exports again at a later time, click the dropdown next to your name at the upper right of your account, and select Exports.
