Branching an automated workflow

Table of contents

Emma’s branching logic capabilities make it possible for you to branch your workflow into separate paths (maximum of 20 branches) based on whether or not contacts have opened a previous mailing in your workflow or clicked a link within a previous mailing in your workflow.

Here are the activities that you can use to branch a workflow:

  • Has opened a mailing in the workflow: Branch based on whether a contact in your workflow has opened one of the previous mailings within that workflow
  • Has clicked a link in a mailing in the workflow: Branch based on whether a contact has clicked a specific link in one of the previous mailings within your workflow, or any link within that mailing.
