It's easy to edit automated mailings without pausing the workflows where they're currently in use. You'll just need to publish those mailings when they're ready to be used. To edit an automated mailing:
- Click on the automated email's entry on the Campaigns page: You will see a brief alert message that includes instructions on publishing your email. You can see the workflows where this email is currently in use at the top of the email editor.

- Make your changes: The email editor will autosave your changes while you work.
- Click Publish to apply your changes: This will update the content of this email in any workflow where it is in use.
If you edit an automated email without publishing your changes, it will display as having "unpublished changes" on the Campaigns page.
