Emma for Salesforce: An overview

Emma for Salesforce is available only to Emma Plus & Enterprise Customers and requires installation service by our integration experts. To request installation, fill out our service form.

If you're a Salesforce user looking for ways to send smart, targeted, and stylish mailings to your contacts, then we've got great news for you: Emma offers a Salesforce application that will help you sort your Emma contacts and track their email response, all from within your Salesforce account.

Audience syncing

Emma for Salesforce synchronizes the activity between your Emma and Salesforce accounts, so if you make an update in one service, that update will automatically be reflected in the other.

It's a great way to keep your contacts' information intact and up-to-date, even in the liveliest Salesforce organization.


 

Emma mailing activity

You can also track the response results of your Emma mailings in the "Emma Mailings" section of Emma for Salesforce. Click a mailing, and you'll see all of the Emma response analytics you know and love, from opens and clicks to shares on social networks.

You can see an overview of your response, or if your recipients opened or interacted with your mailing, you can get a detailed breakdown of unique activities by individual lead or contact. 


Leads and contacts

With Emma for Salesforce, your leads' and contacts' Emma group membership and response history can become part of their profile.

You can view their email status and get an at-a-glance picture of their response to the Emma mailings that they’ve opened. You can also see to which of your Emma audience groups they belong. You can even see when data was last synced between Emma and Salesforce. And if you want to add them to a new group, you can do it with just a few clicks.

Emma for Salesforce's audience management tools make it easy to build and customize your Emma groups, right from your Salesforce account.

 

Salesforce reports

Your Salesforce account offers a wealth of information about your customers, prospects and contacts. Your Emma account can tell you exactly how they've interacted with your mailings.

Because Emma for Salesforce lets you pull Salesforce reports directly into your Emma audience, it's never been easier to create smart, targeted email audience groups.

Put the two together, and you've got a super-powerful targeting feature, using tools that you're probably already familiar with.

So if you want to create an Emma audience group that's just for folks in Minnesota who are shopping for tennis balls, just set up your Salesforce report, then send it straight to Emma. Want to narrow it down to only tennis-loving Minnesotans who clicked the link in your most recent Emma campaign? Go right ahead! You can include your Emma response activity with everything else you've learned about your leads and contacts to create the perfect Emma audience groups.
