Emma for WooCommerce Installation Guide

Below are instructions for installing Emma for WooCommerce. For more information on this integration, head this way.

  1. Login to your WordPress Admin
  2. From the WordPress Menu, select “Plugins -> Add New”
  3. Search for the “Emma Woo Addon”
  4. Click “Install Now”. Once the install is complete, click the “Activate” button. image3.png
  5. Click the “Emma Fields Mapping” Link in the WooCommerce Menuimage5.png

Entering API Keys after Plugin Install

  1. Ensure you see the “Emma” Tab and Emma Account Login Information.
  2. Enter your Emma API Keys and Account IDimage2.png
  3. Click the “Save Changes” button. If the credentials are correct, you will be moved to the next step

Data Synchronization

Creating fields in Emma

Click the “Continue” button to create the custom fields in your Emma account

Map WooCommerce Fields to Emma Custom Fields

In this step, you’ll map fields from your WooCommerce store to custom fields in your Emma account. We’ll demonstrate with the recommended fields.

  1. From Wordpress Customer Field select “Billing FirstName”
  2. From Emma Members Field select “First Name”
  3. Click the “Map Another Field” button
  4. From WooCommerce Customer Field select “Billing LastName”
  5. From Emma Member Field select “Last Name”
  6. Click the “Map Another Field” button
    Note - the following fields are not created by default in your Emma account. You can create them from the WooCommerce setup screen or create them in your Emma account by heading to Audience and choosing Fields.
  7. From WooCommerce Customer Field select “Billing City”
  8. From Emma Member Field select “City”
  9. Click the “Map Another Field” button
  10. From WooCommerce Customer Field select “Billing State”
  11. From Emma Member Field select “State/Province”
  12. Click the “Map Another Field” button
  13. From WooCommerce Customer Field select “Billing Postcode”
  14. From Emma Member Field select “Postal Code. Your fields should look similar to this: image8.png
  15. Click the “Save” button

The fields will be mapped and your data will start to sync.
