InformationBodyThis article provides instructions for adding an integration with Zapier, which is a third-party integration not developed or supported* by Emma. These instructions are for those with a Zapier account, which allows you to connect with more than hundreds of services to easily manage your data and automate tasks. One of the main advantages of using Zapier to connect different apps together is that when an event happens in one app, Zapier notices the change and performs the task in a second, connected app. That connection between two apps is called a Zap, and you can view all available Zaps here. For additional assistance, please visit the Zapier Support site. ⒾEmma can provide support for the Emma-to-Zapier connection, but we cannot provide support for the connect from Zapier to any other application. How to add the Zapier integration You will need your Emma account ID and API key pair in order to set up this integration. If you have not already generated an API key pair, follow the instructions in the linked article to do that now. ⒾIf you have a tiered account, then you will need the subaccount ID, not the parent account ID, in order to set up the integration. To create a Zap: Log in to your Zapier account, or create a Zapier account and sign in.Click on Make a Zap! at the top-right and choose a trigger. You can select from the popular options that they offer or make your own by choosing a trigger and action. Beneath each trigger and action are the options for that connection. Make your selections and click Continue.Follow the prompts to connect to your Emma account. If you have a tiered account, make sure that you are connecting to a subaccount and not the parent account.Click on the Continue button.Choose your account for the service with which you're connecting, log in to it, and click Continue.(Optional) Under Filter, you can limit your results beyond what's offered; say, you only want to receive one field of data. You'll now be able to see the fields specific to the app or service with which you're connecting. If you're using Emma as a trigger, you'll likely want to use some of your account's contacts fields. Click Insert fields to choose from a list of contact fields. Make your choices and then click Continue.Test the Zap by pulling in sample data.Click Continue.Name and activate the Zap by clicking Turn Zap On. Now you can go to your Zapier dashboard to view all Zaps that are on or off. This is also where you can rename, edit, view the history of, copy, and delete Zaps.
